  1. Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, employees, and visitors within the Kettering Health Network.
  2. Uphold and enforce all laws and regulations related to the safety and security of the network.
  3. Conduct patrols and monitoring of all network facilities and properties.
  4. Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed.
  5. Build positive relationships with the community through community-oriented policing strategies.
  6. Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, employees, visitors, and law enforcement agencies.
  7. Investigate and document all incidents and violations, and take appropriate action.
  8. Collaborate with other departments and staff to ensure a coordinated and cohesive approach to safety and security.
  9. Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to assess situations and make sound decisions.
  10. Attend and participate in training, meetings, and workshops to stay updated on policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
  11. Maintain and update records and reports as required.
  12. Adhere to all ethical standards and code of conduct.
  13. Serve as a role model and exemplify the values of the Kettering Health Network.
  14. Continuously strive to improve safety and security measures and make suggestions for improvement.
  15. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in law enforcement and security.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent, With Preference Given To Candidates With A College Degree In Criminal Justice Or A Related Field.

  • Certification As A Police Officer Or Security Professional, With A Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Law Enforcement Or Security.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Criminal Law And Procedures, As Well As The Ability To Effectively Enforce Policies And Regulations.

  • Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, With The Ability To Interact Professionally With Diverse Individuals In High-Stress Situations.

  • Physical Fitness And Stamina, With The Ability To Pass A Physical Fitness Test And Maintain Physical Standards Required For The Job.
