- Provide compassionate and individualized care to patients in the Outpatient Therapy department.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Conduct patient evaluations to assess their physical and functional capabilities.
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment interventions to help patients achieve their full potential and regain independence.
- Utilize evidence-based practices and techniques to improve patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and adaptive techniques to promote independence.

Valid Occupational Therapy License: A Qualified Candidate For The Occupational Therapist Opt 1 - Outpatient Therapy Job At Kettering Health Network Must Hold A Valid And Current License To Practice Occupational Therapy In The State Of Ohio.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Occupational Therapy: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Therapy, But A Master's Degree Is Preferred. The Degree Program Should Be Accredited By The Accreditation Council For Occupational Therapy Education (Acote).
Experience In Outpatient Therapy: Kettering Health Network Is Looking For Candidates With Prior Experience Working In An Outpatient Therapy Setting. This Could Include Experience In A Hospital Outpatient Department, Private Practice, Or Other Outpatient Facility.
Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Practice: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Evidence-Based Practice And Its Importance In Providing Quality Care To Patients. They Should Be Able To Integrate Current Research And Best Practices Into Their Treatment Plans.
