
Occupational Therapist
Kettering Health Network is seeking an experienced and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team and help provide quality care to our patients. The successful candidate will have an understanding of Occupational Therapy and the ability to work as part of a team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing therapeutic interventions to help patients reach their highest level of independence and optimal functioning.To be successful in this role, you must possess a Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university, as well as a current license to practice in the state of Ohio. In addition, you must have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and strong organizational skills. You must also be able to work well in a fast-paced environment and have the flexibility to work with various patient populations. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients based on their diagnosis, condition, and needs • Conduct assessments to identify the patient’s functional level, range of motion, and muscle strength • Teach patients proper use of adaptive equipment and techniques to maximize their independence • Provide education to patients and their families on the purpose of therapy and how to use therapeutic activities to improve their daily lives • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed • Create and maintain patient records that document treatment plans, progress, and outcomes • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care • Stay up to date on the latest advancements in the field and attend continuing education seminars as required
Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Therapy
Current Ohio Occupational Therapy Licensure
National Board For Certification In Occupational Therapy (Nbcot) Certification
Current Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification
Ability To Provide Patient And Family Education
Knowledge Of Documentation
Billing
And Coding Systems For Occupational Therapy Services
Knowledge Of Electronic Health Records Systems
