- Provide comprehensive care to women throughout their pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum period.
- Conduct routine prenatal visits, including physical exams and diagnostic tests.
- Monitor and assess the health of pregnant women and their unborn babies.
- Educate patients on prenatal nutrition, exercise, and self-care.
- Assist with the management of high-risk pregnancies.
- Attend births and provide support during labor and delivery.
- Perform postpartum check-ups and provide guidance on postpartum care.
- Administer medications and pain relief measures as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care for patients.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing emotional support and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in women's health and midwifery.
- Adhere to all medical and ethical standards of practice.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new programs and services.
- Serve as a patient advocate and promote a positive, compassionate, and respectful environment for patients and their families.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing, Midwifery, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Certified Nurse-Midwife.
Current Certification As A Certified Nurse-Midwife (Cnm) From The American Midwifery Certification Board.
Active State License As A Certified Nurse-Midwife.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Women's Health Issues, Prenatal And Postpartum Care, And Labor And Delivery Procedures.
