  2. Perform quality assurance checks on radiation equipment and procedures.
  3. Develop and implement radiation safety protocols and procedures.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed records of radiation usage and patient treatments.
  6. Stay updated on industry advancements and regulations related to medical physics.
  7. Provide training and guidance to staff on radiation safety and protocols.
  8. Participate in clinical research and contribute to the development of new techniques and technologies.
  9. Conduct radiation dose calculations and simulations.
  10. Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding radiation procedures.
  11. Monitor and maintain radiation levels in the healthcare facility.
  12. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to radiation equipment.
  13. Adhere to all legal and ethical standards and regulations related to medical physics.
  14. Mentor and supervise junior medical physicists and trainees.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Or Doctoral Degree In Medical Physics Or A Related Field.

  • Certification From The American Board Of Radiology In Therapeutic Medical Physics.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare System.

  • Knowledge And Proficiency In Radiation Therapy Treatment Planning And Delivery Systems.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret And Apply Complex Mathematical And Physics Principles To Patient Treatment Plans.
