
Medical Assistant or LPN - Women's Health

- Provide exceptional healthcare services: The primary responsibility of this role is to provide exceptional healthcare services to patients within the Women's Health department.
- Assist with patient care: The Medical Assistant or LPN will be responsible for assisting with patient care by taking vital signs, performing basic medical procedures, and administering medications as directed by the healthcare provider.
- Maintain patient records: It is the responsibility of the Medical Assistant or LPN to accurately and efficiently maintain patient records and documentation, including updating medical histories and recording any changes in patient conditions.
- Communicate with patients: The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and will be responsible for effectively communicating with patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have, and providing education on women's health issues.
- Support healthcare providers: The Medical Assistant or LPN will work closely with healthcare providers to support them in providing quality care to patients. This may include preparing exam rooms, assisting with procedures, and relaying important patient information to the provider.
- Ensure patient comfort and privacy: The candidate must have a compassionate and caring demeanor and be responsible for ensuring patient comfort and privacy during all interactions and procedures.
- Adhere to safety protocols: The candidate will be responsible for following all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with team members: The Medical Assistant or LPN will work as part of a dynamic and caring team and will be responsible for collaborating with other team members to provide comprehensive and coordinated care to patients.
- Stay current with industry trends: The candidate will be responsible for staying current with industry trends and advancements in women's health to provide the most up-to-date care to patients.

Associate Degree In Medical Assisting Or Lpn Certification From An Accredited Program
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Medical Office Or Clinical Setting, Preferably In Women's Health
Current Certification In Basic Life Support (Bls)
Proficiency In Electronic Medical Records And Documentation
Knowledge Of Women's Health Procedures, Treatments, And Medications
