
Medical Assistant/LPN - Primary Care

- Greet and welcome patients to the clinic in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing patient needs and concerns.
- Assist physicians with patient care and procedures, including taking vitals, administering medications, and performing basic medical tests.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and charts.
- Ensure proper sanitation and sterilization of medical equipment and exam rooms.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
- Educate patients on medical procedures, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to ensure efficient and timely care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
- Attend training and educational sessions to stay updated on new medical procedures and protocols.

Completion Of An Accredited Medical Assistant Or Lpn Program: Candidates Must Have Completed A Formal Education Program For Medical Assistants Or Lpns From An Accredited Institution. This Ensures That They Have Received The Necessary Training And Education To Perform The Job Duties Effectively.
Current State Licensure And Certification: Candidates Must Hold A Current License And Certification To Practice As A Medical Assistant Or Lpn In The State Where The Job Is Located. This Shows That They Have Met The State's Requirements For Education And Competency In Their Field.
Strong Knowledge Of Primary Care Procedures And Protocols: Candidates Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Primary Care Procedures, Such As Taking Vital Signs, Administering Medications, And Assisting With Minor Procedures. This Knowledge Is Crucial For Providing Quality Care To Patients.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Medical Assistants And Lpns Work Closely With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Therefore, Candidates Must Have Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With And Provide Care To Diverse Individuals.
Experience In A Primary Care Setting: Previous Experience Working In A Primary Care Setting Is Highly Desirable For This Role. It Demonstrates That Candidates Have Experience With The Specific Needs And Demands Of This Type Of Healthcare Environment, Making Them Better Equipped To Handle The Job Responsibilities.
