Job Qualifications
  • Completed Accredited Medical Assistant Program: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Completed A Recognized Medical Assistant Program From An Accredited Institution. This Ensures That They Have The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Perform The Job Duties Effectively.

  • Valid Certification: The Candidate Should Possess A Valid Certification From A Recognized Organization Such As The American Association Of Medical Assistants (Aama) Or American Medical Technologists (Amt). This Demonstrates Their Proficiency And Understanding Of Medical Assisting Principles.

  • Experience In Cardiology: Prior Experience In A Cardiology Setting Is Preferred For This Position. Knowledge Of Heart And Vascular Procedures, Terminology, And Equipment Will Be Beneficial In Providing Quality Patient Care.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Medical Assistant In The Heart And Vascular Department, The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Maintaining A Positive And Efficient Work Environment.

  • Familiarity With Electronic Medical Records (Emr): Kettering Health Network Utilizes Electronic Medical Records For Patient Information And Records. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Familiar With Emr Systems And Have The Ability To Navigate And Document Patient Information Accurately.
