Medical Assistant - General Surgery

1. Provide essential support to surgeons and patients in a fast-paced surgical practice.
2. Assist with patient intake, including taking vitals, obtaining medical history, and preparing patients for exams.
3. Prepare exam rooms and ensure they are fully stocked with necessary supplies and equipment.
4. Assist with procedures and surgeries, ensuring all necessary instruments and equipment are available and properly sterilized.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documenting procedures and treatments.
6. Communicate effectively with patients, providing clear and concise instructions and addressing any concerns or questions.
7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and quality patient care.
8. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
9. Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow to ensure efficient operation of the practice.
