Medical Assistant

Kettering Health Network is looking for an experienced and highly professional Medical Assistant with a passion for providing excellent medical care. The successful candidate for this role will be an organized and detail-oriented individual who is committed to providing exceptional patient care and creating a positive and welcoming environment. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for a variety of tasks including assisting physicians with exams, taking patient histories, and preparing medical records.To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills, an understanding of medical terminology, and the ability to interact professionally with patients. You should also be able to work as part of a team and have a strong work ethic. Previous experience as a Medical Assistant is required. Responsibilites:

1. Assist physicians with exams and procedures.
2. Take patient histories and update medical records.
3. Follow all safety and sanitation regulations.
4. Prepare exam and treatment rooms.
5. Maintain and order medical supplies and equipment.
6. Answer phones and schedule patient appointments.
7. Collect and process lab specimens.
8. Perform basic laboratory tests.
9. Document patient care services.
10. Provide physical and emotional support to patients.
11. Educate patients on medications and other treatments.
12. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
13. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
