We are currently seeking a highly qualified and skilled Manager Infection Control - Quality & Patient Safety to join our team. As the Manager of Infection Control, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients, staff, and community.   1. Develop and implement infection control policies and procedures in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
  2. Oversee the infection control program and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal guidelines.
  3. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
  4. Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement strategies for preventing and controlling infections.
  5. Develop and provide training and education programs for staff to promote infection control best practices.
  6. Monitor and analyze infection data and trends to identify areas for improvement.
  7. Serve as a resource and consultant for staff regarding infection control practices.
  8. Investigate and report any suspected outbreaks or incidents of infection to appropriate authorities.
  9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of infection control activities, including incident reports and statistics.
  10. Develop and maintain relationships with external agencies and stakeholders to stay current on infection control practices and regulations.
  11. Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient safety and reduce the risk of infections.
  12. Collaborate with the Quality and Patient Safety team to develop and implement organization-wide patient safety initiatives.
  13. Stay informed on emerging infection control issues and trends through attending conferences, workshops, and networking with other professionals.
  14. Manage and oversee the budget for the infection control department.
  15. Hire, train, and supervise infection control staff, providing ongoing support and guidance.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Nursing, Public Health, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Infection Control, Quality Management, Or Patient Safety In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Certification In Infection Control (Cic) Or Certified Professional In Healthcare Quality (Cphq) Preferred.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Infection Control Regulations, Standards, And Best Practices.

  • Excellent Leadership, Communication, And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Interdisciplinary Teams.
