- Develop and implement exercise plans for individuals based on their specific needs and goals.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and health history to create personalized exercise programs.
- Educate and guide patients on proper exercise techniques and safety precautions.
- Monitor and track patients' progress and adjust exercise plans as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to patient care.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and trends in exercise physiology to continually improve patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and communicate with other team members as needed.
- Provide motivation, support, and encouragement to patients to help them achieve their fitness goals.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients to exercise in.
- Participate in community outreach programs and events to promote the benefits of exercise and healthy living.
- Adhere to all ethical and professional standards set by the organization.
- Continuously strive to improve and enhance the exercise program to meet the evolving needs of patients.
- Collaborate with other exercise physiologists and colleagues to share knowledge and best practices.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent injuries during exercise sessions.
Bachelor's Degree In Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Or Related Field.
Current Certification As An Exercise Physiologist Through The American College Of Sports Medicine (Acsm).
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working As An Exercise Physiologist In A Clinical Or Hospital Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Exercise Prescription And Rehabilitation Techniques For Various Medical Conditions And Populations.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Work With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals Within The Network.
