1. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Environmental Services department.
2. Ensure that all areas of the facility are cleaned and maintained according to established standards and regulations.
3. Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols to maintain a safe and sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
4. Train, supervise, and evaluate the performance of the Environmental Services team.
5. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment.
6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper cleaning and disinfection of high-risk areas.
7. Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any cleanliness or safety issues.
8. Maintain accurate records and reports related to environmental services, including cleaning schedules and supply usage.
9. Respond promptly to any urgent cleaning needs or emergencies.
10. Stay up-to-date with current infection control practices and regulations, and ensure compliance within the department.
11. Communicate effectively with other departments and staff to address any concerns or issues related to environmental services.
