Environmental Services Supervisor

Kettering Health Network is seeking an experienced Environmental Services Supervisor to join our team. This key role will be responsible for managing the environmental services staff and providing quality patient care through a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of environmental services and will possess a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage staff.We are looking for a candidate who has a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in an environmental services setting. Additional qualifications include strong organizational and problem-solving skills, the ability to exercise independent judgement, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Responsibilities:

1. Manage the environmental services staff to ensure quality patient care through a clean and safe environment.
2. Exercise independent judgement and decision making to best manage staff and resources.
3. Plan and coordinate staff schedules to meet the needs of the facility.
4. Establish and maintain standards of environmental services.
5. Monitor and evaluate performance of staff and take action to ensure compliance with established standards.
6. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards related to environmental services.
7. Develop and implement training and educational programs for staff.
8. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with established standards.
9. Maintain accurate records and documentation of staff performance and activities.
10. Handle customer complaints in a professional and timely manner.
