We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate EKG Technician to join our Noninvasive Cardiology team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing accurate and timely electrocardiogram (EKG) readings to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions.   1. Conduct electrocardiogram (EKG) readings on patients in a timely and accurate manner.
  2. Ensure all necessary equipment is properly set up and calibrated for each patient.
  3. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines.
  4. Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, medical staff, and other team members.
  5. Monitor and report any abnormalities or inconsistencies in patient's EKG readings.
  6. Record and maintain accurate records of EKG readings and patient information.
  7. Assist in the preparation and positioning of patients for EKG procedures.
  8. Provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients during EKG procedures.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in EKG technology.
  10. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while performing EKG procedures.
  11. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment plans.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  13. Attend trainings and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills.
  14. Adhere to ethical and professional standards of conduct at all times.
  15. Continuously seek ways to improve quality and efficiency of EKG procedures.
  16. Assist in other tasks and duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification In Ekg Technology: Candidates Should Possess A Valid Certification In Ekg Technology From A Recognized Organization, Such As The National Healthcareer Association (Nha) Or American Society Of Phlebotomy Technicians (Aspt).

  • Knowledge Of Cardiac Anatomy And Physiology: In-Depth Understanding Of The Structure And Function Of The Heart Is Essential For Performing Accurate Ekg Readings And Identifying Abnormalities.

  • Familiarity With Ekg Equipment And Procedures: Candidates Should Have Experience Working With Various Types Of Ekg Machines And Be Proficient In Performing Standard Ekg Procedures, Including 12-Lead Ekgs And Stress Tests.

  • Attention To Detail: Ekg Technicians Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure Accurate Readings And Be Able To Identify Any Abnormalities Or Errors In The Ekg Results.

  • Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Ekg Technicians Work Closely With Patients, Doctors, And Other Healthcare Professionals, So Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Building Rapport, Providing Clear Instructions, And Working Effectively Within A Team.
