  1. Conduct EKG tests on patients according to established protocols and procedures.
  2. Prepare patients for EKG tests by explaining the procedure and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  3. Monitor patients during EKG tests and report any abnormalities or changes in heart rhythm.
  4. Record and document EKG test results accurately and in a timely manner.
  5. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to assist in interpreting EKG results and providing necessary information for diagnosis and treatment.
  6. Maintain and ensure the cleanliness and functionality of EKG equipment.
  7. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of An Accredited Ekg Technician Training Program: A Candidate Must Have Completed A Formal Training Program In Ekg Technology From An Accredited Institution To Be Considered For The Job At Kettering Health Network.

  • Certification As An Ekg Technician: Kettering Health Network May Require A Candidate To Have A Valid Certification From A Reputable Organization, Such As The American Society Of Phlebotomy Technicians Or The National Healthcareer Association.
