  1. Safely transport patients to and from EKG procedures within the hospital or healthcare facility.
  2. Ensure proper positioning and transfer of patients onto and off of transportation equipment.
  3. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide a comfortable and positive experience.
  4. Monitor and maintain patient comfort and safety during transportation, including responding to any emergent situations.
  5. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including proper use and maintenance of transportation equipment.
  6. Maintain accurate records of patient transportation activities, including documenting any changes in patient condition or incidents during transport.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure efficient and timely transportation of patients.
  8. Demonstrate compassion and empathy towards patients, providing emotional support and reassurance during transportation.
  9. Ensure patient confidentiality and privacy is maintained at all times.
  10. Continuously seek opportunities for professional growth and development in the field of patient transportation and healthcare.
  11. Adhere to all hospital and department policies and procedures.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  13. Participate in training and education programs to stay updated on best practices and new techniques in patient transportation.
  14. Act as a positive representative of Kettering Health Network, upholding the organization's values and mission in all interactions.
  15. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or questions that may arise during transportation.
