  1. Develop and implement strategic plans for materials management in alignment with the overall goals of Kettering Health Network.
  2. Oversee the procurement, inventory, and distribution of supplies and equipment across the network.
  3. Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of supplies to all departments and facilities.
  4. Monitor inventory levels and implement processes to maintain appropriate levels to meet demand.
  5. Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts.
  6. Develop and manage budgets for materials management and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  7. Create and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  8. Lead and mentor a team of materials management staff, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
  9. Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  10. Utilize data and analytics to identify trends and make data-driven decisions to improve materials management processes.
  11. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in materials management to continuously improve operations.
  12. Communicate regularly with senior leadership to provide updates on materials management operations and performance.
  13. Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration within the materials management department and across the organization.
  14. Ensure a safe and organized work environment for materials management staff.
  15. Represent Kettering Health Network in a professional manner and actively promote its mission and values.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Materials Management, With At Least 3-5 Years In A Leadership Role.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Supply Chain Processes And Systems, Including Inventory Management, Procurement, And Distribution.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Build Relationships With Vendors.

  • Proven Track Record Of Implementing Cost-Saving Initiatives And Driving Operational Efficiency In A Healthcare Setting.
