
Clinical Lab Assistant - Pathology

- Perform specimen processing and handling in a timely and accurate manner to ensure efficient workflow and timely results for patients.
- Adhere to established protocols and quality control procedures to maintain accuracy and reliability of laboratory results.
- Enter and maintain data accurately and efficiently in laboratory information systems.
- Collaborate with pathologists, technologists, and other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the laboratory.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, patients, and other stakeholders regarding laboratory processes and results.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies and reagents to ensure availability and proper storage.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe working environment for self and others.
- Participate in continuing education and training to stay updated on new procedures and protocols.
- Meet productivity and quality standards set by the department and organization.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of laboratory procedures, results, and other data as required by regulatory agencies.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as needed.
- Demonstrate a commitment to providing excellent patient care and improving patient outcomes through accurate and timely diagnostic services.
Certification As A Medical Laboratory Technician (Mlt) Or Clinical Laboratory Assistant (Cla).
Associate's Degree In Medical Laboratory Technology Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience Working In A Clinical Laboratory Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Laboratory Procedures And Equipment, Including Phlebotomy And Specimen Processing.
Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Work Efficiently In A Fast-Paced Environment.
