- Develop and implement personalized nutrition plans for patients based on their individual needs and health goals.
- Conduct nutrition assessments and provide recommendations for patients with various medical conditions and dietary restrictions.
- Educate patients on healthy eating habits, including proper portion sizes, food groups, and nutrient requirements.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients.
- Stay updated on current research and trends in nutrition and incorporate new information into practice.
- Monitor and track patient progress and adjust nutrition plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and interventions.
- Provide guidance and support to patients and their families on how to make sustainable lifestyle changes.
- Serve as a resource for healthcare staff on nutrition-related topics and provide in-service education as needed.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide input on patient care plans.
- Adhere to all regulatory and safety guidelines related to nutrition services.
- Continuously strive to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction through quality nutrition care.
- Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate sensitivity when working with patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Actively participate in professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Represent the organization in a positive and professional manner at all times.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Dietetics, Nutrition, Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution.
Current Registration As A Registered Dietitian (Rd) Or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (Rdn) With The Commission On Dietetic Registration.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Clinical Nutrition, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Evidence-Based Nutrition Guidelines And Medical Nutrition Therapy.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Educate And Counsel Patients And Collaborate With Interdisciplinary Healthcare Teams.
