Certified Surgical First Assistant

Kettering Health Network is seeking a qualified and experienced Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working as a surgical assistant, and must be certified as a CSFA in the state of Ohio. Responsibilities: • Ensure all surgical procedures are performed according to the highest standards of excellence • Work collaboratively with the surgical team to provide excellent patient care • Assist in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care, including positioning and draping • Assist the surgeon during complex surgical procedures as needed • Ensure all necessary supplies are available during the procedure • Perform sterile scrubbing and gowning • Maintain and update patient records and other administrative duties as assigned • Manage inventory and ordering of supplies as needed • Adhere to all safety regulations and standards • Maintain a clean and organized operating room environment
