- Provide high-quality care to athletes of all ages and levels by preventing, evaluating, and treating injuries in accordance with best practices and established protocols.
- Collaborate with coaches, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for injured athletes.
- Conduct thorough evaluations of injuries and develop personalized rehabilitation programs for athletes to facilitate their safe return to sports.
- Educate athletes on injury prevention strategies, proper nutrition, and conditioning to improve performance and reduce the risk of injuries.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions, progress, and treatment plans in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with athletes, coaches, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Remain up-to-date on the latest advancements in sports medicine and incorporate new techniques and treatments into practice.
- Adhere to all safety and ethical standards, including maintaining confidentiality and respecting patient rights.
- Act as a positive and professional representative of Kettering Health Network, fostering strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and the community.

Bachelor's Degree In Athletic Training Or Related Field: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Athletic Training, Exercise Science, Or A Related Field Is Typically Required For A Position As An Athletic Trainer At Kettering Health Network.
Certified Athletic Trainer (Atc) Certification: Candidates Must Hold A Current Certification As An Athletic Trainer (Atc) From The Board Of Certification (Boc) To Be Considered For A Position At Kettering Health Network.
State Licensure: In Addition To The Atc Certification, Candidates Must Also Hold A Current License To Practice As An Athletic Trainer In The State Where They Will Be Working.
Experience In Sports Medicine: Previous Experience Working In A Sports Medicine Setting, Such As With A Sports Team Or In A Physical Therapy Clinic, Is Highly Preferred. This Experience Demonstrates A Strong Understanding Of Injury Prevention, Evaluation, And Rehabilitation Techniques.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Athletic Trainers Must Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Athletes, Coaches, And Other Healthcare Professionals. They Must Also Have Strong Interpersonal Skills To Build Relationships With Clients And Work Effectively As Part Of A Team.
