  1. Perform angiography procedures according to established protocols and procedures.
  2. Ensure the safety and comfort of patients throughout the procedure.
  3. Prepare and position patients for procedures, including obtaining consent and verifying patient information.
  4. Operate and maintain angiography equipment, including troubleshooting any technical issues.
  5. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the medical team.
  6. Administer contrast media as needed and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
  7. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess and interpret images and assist with diagnoses and treatment plans.
  8. Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures, patient information, and equipment maintenance.
  9. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols and procedures.
  10. Provide education and support to patients and their families before, during, and after procedures.
  11. Continuously update knowledge and skills in the field of angiography through training and professional development opportunities.
  12. Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and guidelines.
  13. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance patient care.
  14. Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor with patients, families, and colleagues at all times.
  15. Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification: A Minimum Of An Associate's Degree In Radiologic Technology And Certification As A Registered Radiologic Technologist (Rrt) By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) Is Required.

  • Experience: Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience As A Radiologic Technologist With A Focus On Angiography Procedures Is Preferred.

  • Knowledge Of Angiography Equipment: Experience With Operating And Troubleshooting Angiography Equipment, Including Digital Subtraction Angiography (Dsa) Systems, Is Necessary For This Position.

  • Attention To Detail: The Ability To Accurately Position Patients, Manipulate Equipment, And Obtain High-Quality Images Is Crucial For This Role, As Angiography Procedures Require Precise And Detailed Imaging.

  • Communication Skills: Strong Communication Skills Are Essential For An Angiography Technician, As They Will Be Working Closely With Physicians, Patients, And Other Healthcare Professionals To Ensure Safe And Effective Procedures.
