Ambassador - Culinary/Nutrition

Kettering Health Network is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as our Ambassador - Culinary/Nutrition. In this role, you will create an exceptional dining experience for patients, visitors, and staff by providing excellent customer service and nutrition education. If you are passionate about cooking, nutrition, and customer service, we want to hear from you!The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Food Science, Dietetics, or a related field and at least two years of experience in the clinical nutrition field. They must have a strong understanding of nutrition and patient services, be highly organized and detail-oriented, and possess excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities:

1. Create an exceptional dining experience for patients, visitors, and staff by providing excellent customer service and nutrition education.
2. Monitor and assess the quality and nutritional content of food served in the facility.
3. Develop and implement nutrition education programs for patients, visitors, and staff.
4. Collaborate with the food service team to ensure all recipes meet the nutritional guidelines.
5. Provide guidance to patients on menu selections and nutrition-related topics.
6. Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to increase awareness of nutrition services.
7. Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of data entry.
8. Provide guidance and support to patients and families regarding their nutrition care plan.
9. Participate in facility-wide quality improvement initiatives.
10. Remain up-to-date on current nutrition trends and research.
