Laboratory Technician

Participation in company Emergency Response Team (ERT). Set up, adjust, and operate laboratory equipment and instruments. Test and analyze raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using established test methods. Assist in reporting of non-conformances related to quality. Record testing information in data management system in timely manner. Report testing information to operations department in timely manner, so they can determine operating efficiency of process or equipment and diagnosis malfunctions. Perform preventative maintenance and inspections as assigned. Prepare chemical solutions according to standard formulations. Calibrate laboratory instruments. Maintain laboratory inventory list updated and report to supervisor. Assist in updating Laboratory Supervisors log as required. Assist with completion of internal audits of laboratory procedures and documents.
