Discovery Research Scientist

We are seeking highly motivated scientists with a strong background in both Immunology and Biochemistry to join our team. The Discovery Department employs multiple function-based, high-throughput screening approaches to identify proteins with novel immune function in cancer and other diseases for the development of novel, first-in-class immunotherapies. Discovery Scientists in this position will utilize methodologies to identify and validate cell surface and secreted protein-protein interactions for orphan proteins that are required for novel immune function. Independently design workplans and perform laboratory experiments. Develop/perform techniques to identify protein-protein interactions and validation of the functional outcomes of these interactions in cell-based assay systems. Coordinate team members to validate the function of novel protein interactions. Manage external collaborations with CROs and academic partners. Coordinate and prioritize tasks across multiple projects.
