Experience In Power Plant Operations: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Power Plant Operations, Including Knowledge Of Equipment Maintenance, Troubleshooting, And Repair.
Technical Skills: A Strong Understanding Of Mechanical And Electrical Systems, As Well As Knowledge Of Tools And Equipment Used In Power Plant Maintenance, Is Essential For This Role.
Safety Training: Candidates Should Possess Osha Certification And Be Trained In Safety Protocols For Working In A Power Plant Environment. This Includes Knowledge Of Lockout/Tagout Procedures, Hazardous Waste Management, And Personal Protective Equipment.
Mechanical Aptitude: As A Power Plant Mechanic, Candidates Should Be Skilled In Reading And Interpreting Technical Drawings, Schematics, And Manuals To Identify And Resolve Equipment Issues.
