- Conduct regular inspections and audits of manufacturing equipment and processes to identify potential issues and ensure optimal reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, quality, and production, to develop and implement maintenance plans and strategies.
- Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for manufacturing processes and equipment maintenance.
- Lead root cause analysis investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent equipment failures and downtime.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials needed for maintenance and repairs.
- Continuously strive to improve equipment reliability by implementing new technologies and best practices.
- Train and mentor junior team members on equipment maintenance and troubleshooting techniques.
- Communicate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruption to production schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment downtime, and maintenance costs.
- Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in manufacturing reliability to implement new techniques and processes.
- Promote a culture of safety and adherence to all safety protocols and procedures in the manufacturing facility.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement design improvements for equipment and processes.
- Participate in budget planning and cost control measures to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Act as a liaison between the manufacturing site and corporate reliability teams to share best practices and drive overall reliability improvements.
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams.
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In A Manufacturing Environment, Preferably In A Reliability Or Maintenance Role.
Strong Technical Knowledge And Understanding Of Mechanical And Electrical Systems.
Experience With Implementing And Managing Reliability Programs And Processes.
