
Environmental Health & Safety Manager

- Develop and implement environmental health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines in accordance with applicable regulations and best practices.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement strategies for continuous improvement of workplace safety.
- Develop and deliver training programs for employees on safety procedures and practices.
- Conduct investigations and root cause analysis of accidents, injuries, and near misses, and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Monitor and analyze safety data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of environmental health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Communicate and collaborate with regulatory agencies, internal stakeholders, and external partners to ensure compliance and promote a culture of safety.
- Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness in the event of an emergency.
- Manage and maintain safety equipment and supplies, and ensure proper usage and maintenance by employees.
- Lead safety committees and meetings to solicit feedback and address safety concerns.
- Stay informed on new technologies and processes to improve environmental health and safety practices and procedures.
- Prepare reports and presentations on safety performance for management and stakeholders.
- Serve as a role model for safety by promoting a positive and proactive safety culture.
Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Health And Safety, Occupational Health And Safety, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Environmental Health And Safety Management, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Food Production Setting.
Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Regulations Related To Environmental Health And Safety, Including Osha, Epa, And Fda Requirements.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Train And Educate Employees On Safety Protocols And Procedures.
Experience In Developing And Implementing Safety Programs And Initiatives, As Well As Conducting Risk Assessments And Accident Investigations.
