  1. Develop and implement company-wide health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with local and federal regulations.
  2. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  3. Train and educate employees on safe work practices and emergency procedures.
  4. Investigate and report on any accidents, incidents, or near misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  5. Collaborate with management to develop and maintain an effective emergency response plan.
  6. Monitor and track safety metrics and provide regular reports to management on safety performance.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulations related to health and safety, and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
  8. Manage and maintain all safety-related documentation and records.
  9. Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety protocols are followed and integrated into all processes and projects.
  10. Conduct internal and external safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  11. Develop and deliver safety training programs to all levels of employees, including new hire orientation, refresher training, and specialized training as needed.
  12. Serve as the main point of contact for all safety-related inquiries and concerns from employees.
  13. Proactively identify and address potential safety hazards and provide recommendations for corrective action.
  14. Foster a culture of safety and compliance within the organization by promoting and encouraging safe work practices.
  15. Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies and participate in audits and inspections as needed.
  16. Keep abreast of emerging safety trends, technologies, and best practices and implement them into the company's safety program.
  17. Conduct root cause analysis of safety incidents and provide recommendations to prevent future occurrences.
  18. Lead safety committees and meetings to discuss safety concerns and initiatives.
  19. Collaborate with HR to ensure that the company's safety policies and procedures are integrated into the onboarding process for new employees.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Health And Safety, Environmental Science, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Food Production Environment.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Osha Regulations And Compliance Standards.

  • Strong Leadership Skills With The Ability To Effectively Train, Mentor, And Supervise A Team.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Communicate With All Levels Of The Organization.
