As a client facing analytics and BI leader, works closely with sales and account executives to identify client needs. Manage remote team of developers to ensure around the clock coverage of reporting queues. Manage and assign work that is submitted via our ad hoc queues and ensure work is completed for on time delivery. Work with cross-functional teams, such as Technology, Data Engineering, Data Science and others to provide emergency support & solutions to data & reporting challenges that impact key business clients. Develop, maintain, and manage analytics, reporting, and other Business Intelligence solutions on Tableau Server and SSRS. Extract, manipulate, analyze & interpret data from various corporate data sources developing advanced analytic solutions, deriving key observations, findings, insights, and formulating actionable recommendations. Lead efforts in building best practices around data visualization and dashboards.
5+ years of relevant experience with some supervisory duties.
Tableau Desktop Specialist Certification, with Certified Associate certification preferred
Working knowledge of best-in-class technology "big data" platforms and cloud based technology is a plus.
Familiarity with cloud based technologies, a definite asset.
Experience in business, marketing, or academic reporting and analytics.
