Operations Specialist - Revenue Assurance

Checks/exports and verifies the accuracy of the files/reports downloaded from the LDC and third-party vendors. These files may include any or all of the following: daily consumption, invoices/bills, accepts, rejects, payments, and adjustments. Monitors bills in the pending approval screen. Auto approves bills without exception errors. Reviews and investigates bills with exceptions making sure their issues are resolved no later than the maximum allowable business days for bills to be returned. Emails LDCs when necessary. For Rate Ready markets, reconciles bills received from the LDC against known parameters and ensures their accuracy. Documents all consumption, bill and payment/settlement related issues. Keeps a file, whether hard or soft copy of all communication with LDCs. Documents new processes and updates Procedure Manual for changes in procedures. Creates and maintains process flow charts as well.
