Associate Manager, Business Advisory and Assurance Services

You will provide your subject matter expertise in financial accounting, reporting, and control with a team of highly-skilled business advisors based in Canada, and with additional resources available based in North America, Europe, and Asia, reporting to both the Manager and Vice President of this function. Identifies and documents internal control deficiencies and remediation plans, including monitoring progress and status of remediation plans. Reviews to ensure clear and concise work papers to applicable professional standards. Works independently with very limited coaching; ability to lead teams to effective completed tasks, Interacts as a key contact with external auditors on the resolution of identified control failures. Leads walkthroughs on complex financial areas, including derivatives, taxes, and financial reporting, and both creates and updates business process flow and associated documentation. Ensures our SOX risks, controls and other documentation remain current while leading initiating and executing continuous improvement activities, as needed. Seen as a strong subject matter professional in both internal control and financial reporting areas.
