Staff Software Test Engineer
Guide the development of test cases and test protocols to verify the software functionality. Manage the reporting of testing progress, defect burn down rates, test case coverage, and other items needed to ensure that management is properly advised of the progress towards meeting development timelines. Help author and execute automation test scripts. Work closely with product development teams and other software test engineers to build the list of failure modes and how those should be tested. Work with engineering and quality to ensure the proper execution of test protocols, to help draft test summary reports, and to ensure a quality product is produced. Help define and refine SW design and test control practices. Further responsibilities may include owning larger parts of the overall system quality management.
Breadth and depth in software as part of web-based systems is required
Working experience in FDA or other highly regulated environment is preferred
General knowledge in other subject areas, including biomedical engineering or medical software development is preferred
Experience working in an Agile SW development context is preferred
