  1. Develop and implement strategies to foster engagement and collaboration within the scientific community at Johnson & Johnson.
  2. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including scientists, researchers, and industry partners.
  3. Stay up-to-date on the latest scientific advancements and technologies in order to identify potential collaboration opportunities.
  4. Act as a liaison between different scientific teams and departments to facilitate communication and knowledge sharing.
  5. Lead and coordinate scientific events, workshops, and conferences to promote collaboration and knowledge exchange.
  6. Identify and address any barriers to collaboration, and work towards creating a more streamlined and efficient process.
  7. Analyze and report on engagement and collaboration metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  8. Conduct market research to identify new trends and opportunities for collaboration.
  9. Assist in the development and execution of scientific projects and initiatives.
  10. Act as a brand ambassador for Johnson & Johnson, promoting our commitment to scientific innovation and collaboration.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In A Scientific Field: A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In A Scientific Field Such As Biology, Chemistry, Or Pharmaceutical Sciences Is Typically Required For This Role. This Ensures That The Engagement Lead Has A Strong Understanding Of Scientific Concepts And Can Effectively Communicate With Scientific Teams.

  • Project Management Experience: As A Scientific Portfolio Engagement Lead, One Must Oversee Multiple Projects And Collaborate With Various Departments And Stakeholders. Therefore, Strong Project Management Skills And Experience Are Essential For Success In This Role.

  • Knowledge Of Pharmaceutical Industry: A Deep Understanding Of The Pharmaceutical Industry, Including Drug Development Processes, Regulatory Requirements, And Market Trends, Is Crucial For This Role. This Knowledge Allows The Engagement Lead To Effectively Guide Project Teams And Make Strategic Decisions.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Scientific Portfolio Engagement Lead Must Possess Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Teams And Stakeholders At All Levels. Additionally, Strong Interpersonal Skills Are Necessary To Build And Maintain Relationships With Key Partners And Stakeholders.

  • Leadership And Team Management Experience: This Role Requires A Leader Who Can Effectively Manage And Motivate Teams To Achieve Project Goals And Deliver Results. Previous Experience In Leading Teams And Managing Employee Performance Is Essential For This Position.
