- Lead and manage the Discovery Immunology team, providing direction and guidance for research and development projects.

Advanced Degree In Immunology Or Related Field: The Ideal Candidate For A Scientific Director, Discovery Immunology Position At Johnson & Johnson Should Possess A Phd Or Equivalent In Immunology, Biology, Or A Related Field. This Educational Background Provides A Strong Foundation For Understanding And Leading The Discovery Of New Immunological Therapies.
Extensive Experience In Drug Discovery: Candidates For This Position Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Drug Discovery, Preferably In The Immunology Field. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Effectively Managing And Motivating A Team, As Well As The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.
Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements: In Order To Bring New Therapies To Market, The Scientific Director, Discovery Immunology Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Regulatory Requirements For Drug Development. This Includes Knowledge Of Fda And Other Global Regulatory Agency Guidelines And Processes.
