- Design and develop optical systems for medical devices in accordance with project requirements and company standards.
- Optimize existing optical systems to improve performance and functionality.

- Conduct feasibility studies and support product development by providing technical expertise and recommendations.
- Perform optical simulations and analyses using software tools such as Zemax or Code V.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in optical engineering, and apply new techniques and technologies to enhance product design.
- Conduct experiments and tests to evaluate and validate optical designs and functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to optical systems and components.
- Maintain accurate documentation of designs, experiments, and test results.
- Adhere to project timelines and deliver high-quality optical designs on schedule.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Mentor and train junior engineers on optical design principles and techniques.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates and present findings.
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Act as a subject matter expert and provide technical support to other departments as needed.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Optical Engineering Or A Related Field Such As Physics Or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Designing And Developing Optical Systems And Components.
Proficiency In Optical Design And Simulation Software, Such As Zemax Or Code V.
Strong Understanding Of Optical Principles, Including Light Propagation, Polarization, And Aberrations.
Familiarity With Optical Testing And Measurement Techniques, Including Interferometry And Spectrophotometry.
