  1. Develop and implement security measures for medical technology products in compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  2. Conduct risk assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities in both hardware and software components of medical devices.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the product development lifecycle.
  4. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in cybersecurity to continuously improve security measures.
  5. Conduct security training and awareness programs for employees to promote a culture of security.
  6. Monitor and respond to security incidents and work with relevant stakeholders to mitigate any potential risks.
  7. Drive the development and implementation of security policies and procedures for the organization.
  8. Participate in product design reviews to ensure security requirements are met.
  9. Communicate security risks and recommendations to senior management and make recommendations for risk mitigation strategies.
  10. Act as a subject matter expert for security-related inquiries and provide guidance to other departments within the organization.
  11. Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as regulatory bodies and industry partners, to ensure compliance with security standards.
  12. Lead the development of security plans for new product launches and provide ongoing support for existing products.
  13. Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure ongoing compliance.
  14. Mentor and coach team members on security best practices and procedures.
  15. Foster a culture of security awareness and champion the importance of patient safety and privacy within the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Product Security, Preferably In The Medical Technology Industry.

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements And Standards Related To Product Security, Such As Hipaa, Iso 13485, And Fda Guidelines.

  • Strong Understanding Of Risk Management Principles And Experience Implementing Security Controls In Product Development.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Drive Decision-Making On Product Security Matters.
