- Develop and implement employee and labor relations strategies that align with the company's goals and values.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all employee and labor relations matters, providing guidance and support to managers and employees at all levels.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable employment and labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with labor unions, negotiating and administering collective bargaining agreements.
- Investigate and resolve employee complaints and grievances, providing fair and timely resolutions.
- Develop and deliver training programs on employee and labor relations topics to enhance understanding and promote a positive work culture.
- Collaborate with HR partners and other stakeholders to identify and address potential employee relations issues proactively.
- Monitor and analyze employee relations metrics to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
- Foster a diverse and inclusive work environment by promoting equal employment opportunities and addressing any issues of discrimination or harassment.
- Lead and supervise a team of employee and labor relations professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in employee and labor relations to continuously improve processes and procedures.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings related to employee and labor relations matters.
- Develop and maintain effective communication channels with employees and labor unions to promote transparency and open dialogue.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as legal and compliance, to ensure consistent interpretation and application of policies and procedures.
- Act as a role model for ethical behavior and promote a positive company culture.
Extensive Experience In Employee And Labor Relations: A Proven Track Record Of At Least 7-10 Years In A Similar Role, With A Deep Understanding Of Labor Laws, Regulations, And Best Practices.
Strong Communication And Negotiation Skills: The Ability To Effectively Communicate With All Levels Of Employees, Including Union Representatives, And Mediate Conflicts To Find Mutually Beneficial Solutions.
Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Abilities: The Capacity To Develop And Implement Innovative Employee And Labor Relations Strategies That Align With The Company's Goals And Values.
Knowledge Of Hr Policies And Procedures: A Comprehensive Understanding Of Hr Policies And Procedures, Including Performance Management, Employee Discipline, And Grievance Handling.
Leadership And Team Management Skills: The Ability To Lead And Manage A Team Of Employee And Labor Relations Professionals, Providing Guidance, Coaching, And Support To Ensure A Positive And Productive Work Environment.
