  1. Lead and oversee signal detection activities for Johnson & Johnson's products.
  2. Provide strategic input to drug safety and risk management teams based on signal detection findings.
  3. Utilize strong pharmacovigilance knowledge and expertise to ensure the safety and efficacy of products.
  4. Conduct thorough analysis of safety data and trends to identify potential safety concerns.
  5. Stay updated on regulatory requirements and guidelines related to signal detection and pharmacovigilance.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  7. Prepare and present signal detection reports and recommendations to senior management.
  8. Mentor and train junior team members on signal detection processes and best practices.
  9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of signal detection activities.
  10. Participate in the development and improvement of signal detection processes and tools.
  11. Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  12. Represent Johnson & Johnson in external meetings and conferences related to signal detection and pharmacovigilance.
  13. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of signal detection activities.
  14. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulations at all times.
  15. Act as a role model for ethical and compliant behavior in all aspects of work.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Pharmacovigilance And Signal Detection: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Pharmacovigilance And Signal Detection, Preferably In The Pharmaceutical Industry. They Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Principles And Methodologies Of Signal Detection And Risk Management.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Associate Director, Signal Detection Scientist Will Be Responsible For Analyzing Large Volumes Of Safety Data And Identifying Potential Safety Signals. Therefore, They Should Have Strong Analytical Skills And Be Able To Think Critically To Identify Patterns And Trends In The Data.

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Global Pharmacovigilance Regulations, Including Ich Guidelines, Fda Regulations, And Eu Regulations. They Should Be Able To Apply This Knowledge To Ensure Compliance With Regulatory Requirements In All Aspects Of Signal Detection And Management.

  • Leadership And Project Management Skills: This Role Will Involve Leading A Team Of Signal Detection Scientists And Coordinating With Cross-Functional Teams. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Excellent Leadership Skills And Be Able To Manage Projects Effectively, Ensuring Timely Delivery Of Results.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Associate Director, Signal Detection Scientist Will Be Required To Collaborate With Various Internal And External Stakeholders, Including Safety Experts, Regulatory Authorities, And Other Teams Within Johnson & Johnson. Therefore, Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Essential For This Role.
