- Provide nutrition services to women, infants, and children enrolled in the WIC program.
- Develop and implement nutrition education programs for WIC participants.
- Conduct individual nutrition assessments and create personalized nutrition plans.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition interventions.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations to promote nutrition and health education.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of WIC participants.
- Attend training and professional development opportunities to stay updated on nutrition guidelines and best practices.
- Effectively communicate nutrition information to diverse populations.
- Serve as a resource for nutrition-related inquiries and concerns from WIC participants and the community.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality nutrition services.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines related to the WIC program.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing Johns Hopkins University and the WIC program.
- Support and promote the mission and values of Johns Hopkins University.
- Continuously seek ways to improve and enhance nutrition services for WIC participants.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings and trainings.
- Keep abreast of current research and trends in nutrition to inform and improve practice.
Registered Dietitian (Rd) Or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (Rdn) Certification.
Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Public Health, Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Community Nutrition Or Public Health Setting.
Knowledge Of Federal Wic Program Regulations And Guidelines.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work With Diverse Populations And Effectively Educate Clients On Nutrition And Health Topics.
