  1. Perform diagnostic vascular ultrasound procedures on patients, including but not limited to carotid, venous, and arterial studies.
  2. Operate state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment and maintain its proper function through regular maintenance and troubleshooting.
  3. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely assessments of patient conditions.
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including images and test results, in accordance with departmental and institutional policies.
  5. Follow established protocols and safety measures to ensure the well-being of patients and staff during procedures.
  6. Continuously monitor and evaluate the quality of ultrasound images and make necessary adjustments to optimize diagnostic accuracy.
  7. Educate patients about the procedures and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
  8. Stay updated on the latest advancements and techniques in vascular sonography and incorporate them into daily practice.
  9. Participate in research projects and clinical trials related to vascular sonography.
  10. Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor towards patients, families, and colleagues at all times.
  11. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of healthcare and patient confidentiality.
  12. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans based on ultrasound findings.
  13. Attend departmental meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
  14. Adhere to departmental and institutional policies and procedures.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current Certification As A Registered Vascular Technologist (Rvt) Or Registered Vascular Sonographer (Rvs) Through Ardms.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Vascular Sonography, Preferably In A Hospital Or Academic Medical Center Setting.

  • Proficiency In Performing A Wide Range Of Vascular Ultrasound Procedures, Including Carotid, Venous, Arterial, And Transcranial Doppler Studies.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Diverse Team Of Healthcare Professionals.
