- Manage all aspects of travel arrangements for faculty, staff, and students, including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and visas.
- Develop and maintain relationships with travel vendors to negotiate competitive rates and ensure high-quality services for our community.
- Create and implement policies and procedures for travel booking and reimbursement, ensuring compliance with university guidelines and budget constraints.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and resolving any travel-related issues.
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to coordinate travel for university events and conferences.
- Monitor and analyze travel expenses to identify cost-saving opportunities and make recommendations for budget allocation.
- Train and supervise a team of travel coordinators, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective travel services.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the university's travel services.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of all travel activities and expenses.
- Uphold the university's values of diversity and excellence in all interactions and decisions.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In The Travel Industry, Including At Least 2 Years In A Managerial Role.
Strong Knowledge Of Travel Industry Trends, Regulations, And Best Practices.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Build Relationships With Vendors And Clients.
Proficiency In Travel Booking Systems And Software, Such As Sabre Or Amadeus, As Well As Microsoft Office And Other Relevant Programs.
