  1. Develop and deliver online course content in collaboration with faculty members to ensure high-quality and engaging learning experiences for students.
  2. Serve as a mentor and resource for students, providing guidance and support throughout their coursework and research.
  3. Facilitate online discussions and activities that promote critical thinking, collaboration, and application of course material.
  4. Assess student learning through assignments, projects, and exams, providing timely and constructive feedback.
  5. Stay current on developments and trends in education, both nationally and internationally, and incorporate relevant information into course materials.
  6. Collaborate with other Teaching Fellows and faculty members to continuously improve the online program and enhance the student learning experience.
  7. Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the program.
  8. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in online education.
  9. Adhere to all university policies and procedures related to teaching and academic integrity.
  10. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that values diversity and promotes respect and inclusivity among students.
  11. Contribute to departmental initiatives and projects, as assigned by the Program Director.
  12. Embody and promote the values and mission of the Department of Education, Evaluation, and International at Johns Hopkins University.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal.

  • Master's Degree In Education Or A Related Field.

  • Prior Experience Teaching In An Online Environment Or Designing Online Curriculum.

  • Strong Understanding Of Instructional Design Principles And Strategies For Effective Online Teaching.

  • Ability To Work Independently And Collaboratively With Faculty And Staff To Support Student Learning And Engagement.
