- Assist the lead instructor in creating and implementing lesson plans for the Education for Empowerment and Inclusion program.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback on assignments and coursework.
- Facilitate online discussions and engage with students to promote a collaborative and inclusive learning environment.
- Provide additional support to students who may be struggling academically.
- Foster a positive and supportive relationship with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Collaborate with the lead instructor to create and grade assessments.
- Keep accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
- Communicate regularly with students and provide timely responses to inquiries and concerns.
- Stay up-to-date on current educational trends and research to enhance teaching methods.
- Attend training and professional development sessions to continuously improve teaching skills and techniques.
- Adhere to and enforce academic integrity policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other teaching assistants and faculty members to ensure a cohesive and effective learning experience for students.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of the Education for Empowerment and Inclusion program.
- Uphold the mission and values of Johns Hopkins University in all interactions with students and colleagues.
Bachelor's Degree In Education, Early Childhood Development, Or A Related Field.
Prior Experience Working With Children In An Educational Setting.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Eei (Expeditionary Learning Education) Principles And Methodology.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Students, Teachers, And Parents.
Proficiency In Technology And Online Learning Platforms To Assist With Virtual Instruction And Support.
