- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to identify and attract top talent for various positions within the university.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with hiring managers and department heads to understand their hiring needs and priorities.
- Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals, to identify and engage with potential candidates.
- Conduct thorough and efficient screening and interviewing processes to assess candidates' skills, qualifications, and cultural fit.
- Provide guidance and support to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, including job description development, candidate assessment, and offer negotiation.
- Collaborate with HR and diversity and inclusion teams to ensure that our recruitment efforts are inclusive and diverse.
- Continuously monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition and implement new strategies and tools as appropriate.
- Represent the university and promote our employer brand at job fairs, conferences, and other recruitment events.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of our onboarding program to ensure a positive and seamless experience for new hires.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors, as needed.
- Train and mentor other members of the HR team on recruitment processes and best practices.
- Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement policies and procedures related to talent acquisition.
- Act as a brand ambassador for the university, promoting our mission, values, and culture to potential candidates.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Talent Acquisition, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.
Strong Understanding Of Best Practices In Recruitment, Sourcing, And Candidate Selection.
Experience Developing And Implementing Diversity And Inclusion Initiatives In Recruitment Processes.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships With Hiring Managers And Candidates.
