- Serve as the main point of contact for faculty and researchers regarding sponsored projects, providing guidance and support throughout the entire life cycle of grants and contracts.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and submit grant proposals, ensuring compliance with sponsor guidelines and university policies.
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of sponsored projects, including budget development, subaward negotiations, and post-award administration.
- Stay updated on changes and developments in grant and contract regulations, policies, and procedures, and communicate these updates to relevant parties.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of sponsored projects, ensuring compliance with institutional and sponsor requirements.
- Provide training and assistance to faculty and staff on grant and contract administration, including proposal development, budgeting, and compliance.
- Monitor project progress and financials, identifying and addressing any issues or discrepancies as they arise.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between faculty, researchers, and external sponsors to ensure timely and accurate submission of required reports and deliverables.
- Work closely with the institutional research office and other departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of sponsored projects processes and procedures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Business Administration, Finance, Or Accounting.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Sponsored Projects Administration, Preferably In A University Setting.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Federal Regulations And Guidelines Related To Sponsored Projects, Including Uniform Guidance And Omb Circular A-21.
Demonstrated Experience Managing Complex Budgets And Financial Reporting For Sponsored Projects.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Faculty, Staff, And External Sponsors.
