  1. Conduct regular reviews and audits of the university's compliance processes and procedures to ensure they align with laws, regulations, and policies.
  2. Develop and maintain a comprehensive compliance monitoring program to identify potential compliance risks and areas for improvement.
  3. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to establish and implement compliance policies and procedures.
  4. Stay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices to effectively monitor and advise on compliance matters.
  5. Conduct thorough investigations of any compliance issues or violations, and develop corrective action plans to address them.
  6. Provide training and guidance to university employees on compliance matters and assist in developing and delivering compliance education programs.
  7. Serve as a subject matter expert on compliance-related inquiries and provide guidance and support to university leadership.
  8. Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory agencies as needed.
  9. Develop and maintain compliance documentation, including reports, policies, and procedures.
  10. Monitor and track compliance activities and report on the university's compliance status to senior management.
  11. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the compliance monitoring program.
  12. Participate in the development and execution of compliance risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential areas of non-compliance.
  13. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  14. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of the role.
  15. Continuously evaluate and update the university's compliance program to ensure it remains current and effective.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Or Business Administration.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Healthcare Compliance, Preferably In A Large Academic Medical Institution.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Federal And State Healthcare Regulations, Including Hipaa, Medicare, And Medicaid.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Complex Regulatory Requirements And Develop Effective Compliance Strategies.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Various Stakeholders And Present Compliance Findings And Recommendations To Senior Management.
