- Act as a resource for faculty and students, providing support and guidance in utilizing simulation-based learning.
- Stay current with advancements and trends in simulation-based education and incorporate them into teaching methods.
- Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to simulation-based education.
- Collaborate with other departments and institutions to promote and advance simulation-based education.
- Represent the institution at conferences and events related to simulation-based education.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of simulation-based learning activities.
Advanced Degree In Education Or Healthcare: A Simulation Educator At Johns Hopkins University Should Possess At Least A Master's Degree In Education, Healthcare, Or A Related Field. This Advanced Degree Will Demonstrate A Strong Foundation In Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, And Assessment Methods.
Experience In Simulation-Based Education: The Ideal Candidate For A Simulation Educator Position At Johns Hopkins University Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Simulation-Based Education. This Experience Should Include Designing And Delivering Simulation Scenarios, Facilitating Debriefing Sessions, And Evaluating Simulation-Based Learning Outcomes.
