- Develop and draft institutional policies and procedures that align with the university's mission and values.
- Conduct thorough research on current policies and regulations to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to gather information and perspectives for policy development.
- Write clear, concise, and persuasive policy documents that effectively communicate complex ideas and recommendations.
- Edit and proofread policy documents for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in higher education policy.
- Analyze data and conduct impact assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of current policies and inform future policy decisions.
- Facilitate discussions and meetings to gather feedback and build consensus on policy proposals.
- Assist in the implementation and communication of new policies and procedures.
- Provide training and support to staff and faculty on policy-related matters.
- Serve as a liaison between the university and external organizations, representing the institution's policies and positions.
- Contribute to the development of strategic plans and initiatives related to policy and social justice.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate policy developments and make recommendations for updates or revisions.

A Bachelor's Degree In Public Policy, Political Science, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience Writing Policy Documents For Government Agencies, Non-Profit Organizations, Or Academic Institutions.
Strong Knowledge Of Policy Analysis And Research Methods.
Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Present Complex Information In A Clear And Concise Manner.
Experience Working With Diverse Stakeholders And Collaborating With Interdisciplinary Teams.
